Tom’s TV (Brainerd, MN), unveiled a new 3D theater room earlier this month. Part of the project included installing new theater seating and, of course, the Active 3D TV Projector, the viewing is simply unparalleled, having seen it first hand. Tom sat down with me and we started to watch Alice in Wonderland in 3D. The first thing I noticed was the Active 3D glasses are completely different than Passive 3D glasses. It is much more pleasurable viewing the 3D experience with active glasses. Next, the image quality was breath taking. I can only imagine the viewing experience for a sports game or video game. This is definitely a game changer. Money saved from viewing 3D movies, tv channels, and games at home versus paying for a theater could pay for a projector or 3D TV in no time.

The benefits of an Active 3D TV Projector

For years 3D has definitely began to evolve and now that the transition from the theaters to everyone’s homes. Though many people will say that 3D movies have started to get out of hand, there really are not that many people who are complaining about 3D TVs. What many people do not understand about 3D technology is that it has definitely gone a long way compared to the old “3D TV’s” with the plastic glasses, or passive 3D. Active 3D glasses have better quality compared to a passive 3D TV and you definitely have to see the difference in order to truly experience it. If you happen to be in the Brainerd Lakes Area and you want to experience the new Active 3D TV, here are a few reasons why you should by and definitely check it out.

The shutter glasses for the active 3D glasses are definitely what sets it apart from a passive 3D TV. The technology that these TV’s have is definitely mind blowing and it seems like most people do not really understand the power that these new TV’s have. You will be able to experience a whole new world with the active 3D TV’s and it definitely feels like you right there in the movie. For years people have wanted to finally bring the real 3D experience that they have at the theaters with their TV at home. Finally people are now able to see and feel the 3D experience at home without having to drive to the theaters for the experience.

Though the active glasses are bit more expensive, it is definitely worth the price. If you are curious about whether or not it is worth buying, you can stop by and enjoy the experience. This is definitely something movie addicts have to experience because it simply is something that every fan should enjoy. Some people have complained that passive 3D TVs will give you a headache and fortunately the active 3D technology definitely lessens that. The quality of the movie is definitely top notch and it is not a surprise that people have been raving about the new active 3D technology online.

So if you are serious about buying a new TV or you are curious about the different options that you have, it is best to do some research for yourself to see what others think about active 3D TV’s. There are plenty of reviews on the internet about how they work and how their experience was with the new technology. Though you will get a good idea of how these TV’s work by reading reviews on the internet, there really is nothing like experiencing the 3D TV’s in person. So it is definitely recommended to stop by our shop and experience our new upgraded theater room which will give you the chance to experience the new technology that people all over the world have been talking about. With just a little motivation and research, you will definitely be able to realize the power of the active 3D TV.

Soon we will psot photos from the unboxing of Chief’s new automated swing-arm mount, the PXRU. This mount is capable of being fully automated, with 4 programming positions and a 5th for “home”. It provides full motion through extension, as well as tilt. Really cool!

We will be installing a Sony XBR60LX900 on this swing-arm, along with a Phase Technology PC3.0 sound bar below it. The sound bar will be attached to the swing-arm so that it moves with the television, allowing the sound to be directed at one of the four selectable preset positions.

An RTI T2C controller will be installed and programmed to provide one-touch control for all of their A/V equipment. When the client sits down to watch TV, they will select “Watch TV” from their controller and all of the necessary components come to life and begin working as they should AND the television moves out from its rested “home” position and points towards their seating position – how cool is that.

While having the large television and speaker able to be moved in such an effortless fashion, it allows the client to easily free up extra space in their living room while having guests over.
